The Dell EMC 005053238 (also known as X-DS60-8TBS) is an 8TB enterprise-class Near-Line SAS hard disk drive purpose-built for use in the Dell EMC Data Domain DS60 60-bay expansion shelf. Running at 7,200 RPM with a 12Gb/s SAS interface, this large-form-factor drive is engineered for high-density backup and deduplication storage environments. It is a certified, field-replaceable unit (FRU) that slots directly into the DS60 disk enclosure, making it ideal for expanding capacity on Data Domain DD4200, DD4500, DD6800, DD7200, DD9300, DD9500, and DD9800 systems running DD OS 5.7 or later.
